UP TO 23 is a duo founded at the beginning of 2022 and formed by Marco Buffetti and Francesco Fincato. It is based on background music, IDM and Industrial, and it is characterized by two different styles: on the one hand taste for relaxed and dense sounds, on the other hand love for whatever is dissonant and poorly structured. These features convey in the creation of a soundscape evolving from dark atmospheres to brighter and brighter scenes. This dual nature also reflects the different musical education of the members. The first one comes from a more traditional and musical path: after being a classic percussionist, he participated in rock and jazz projects as a drummer and keyboarder. The second one comes from a more technical education aimed at sound construction, resulting from his previous experience as a producer.
